Philip Ray Butler, 52, of Lehigh Acres, died in Lehigh Acres after a terminal illness.
He was a United States Navy Gulf War veteran, husband, father, son, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Paulajean Butler; sons, Joshua Butler, USN, Japan, Dalton Payton of Gainesville and Cameron Payton of Lehigh; parents, Alvie (Buzz) and Annette Butler of Lehigh; maternal grandmother, Betty Golden of Lehigh; siblings, Phyllis Masters of Maggie Valley, N.C., Kenneth Butler of Holiday, Fla., Eric Butler of Lehigh, Ken (Dutch) Wolf of Salisbury, Pa., Kim Wolf of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Keith Butler of Missouri; nephews, Tim Kreager of Lehigh and Steve Kreager of Mississippi; and nieces, Casey Butler of Hudson, Fla., Eden Wolf of Pennsylavania, and Stefani and Ember Butler of Cape Coral.
Family and friends are welcome to a celebration of life from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at his home in Lehigh.
The family offered special acknowledgment to the exceptional team from Hope Hospice.
