Josephine Giorgi Travetto, 91, of Lehigh Acres, died Friday, June 28, 2013. She was born July 30, 1921, in Spring Valley, Ill., the daughter of Olga (Bonan) and Adelmo Giorgi.
She enjoyed her youth and early adult years in the Chicago area. She embarked on a career with the Chicago Motor Club, where she ascended to the rank of office manager for Northside Operations.
She was the wife of Floyd Travetto, and the couple retired to Southwest Florida in 1983.

She was a devout parishioner at Saint Raphael's Catholic Church, a tireless soup kitchen volunteer for many years at the Christ United Methodist Church of Lehigh Acres and also gave generously of her time and talents in support of Hope Hospice.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene T. (Kurt) Zetzsche of Portland, Ore.; grandson, William J. Voris of Mount Prospect, Ill.; and great-grandchildren, Tatum and Sophie Voris both of Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and grandson, Michael J. Voris.
A memorial Mass was held Friday, July 5, 2013, at Blessed Pope John XXIII Catholic Church in Fort Myers.
