Riverdale Library to host events

The roster of activities at Riverdale Branch Library offers topics for families, children and teens. The following activities are free to the public:

Family

- Family Storytime

10 a.m. Sept. 6, 13, 20 and 27

This program is for the whole family and lasts about 30 minutes. Registration is required.

Children

- Wacky Wednesday: Just One Story

4:30 p.m. Sept. 4, 11, 18 and 25

Let's be wacky, Let's have fun, Just a story, Just the one. Listen to a story or read one, watch a play or perform in one. It may be an adventure so you just come.

- Kids Read Down Fines

10-11 a.m. Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28

Children and teens can earn a $2 coupon for every 15 minutes of reading, during the allotted time. A total of $8 per day may be earned. For ages 18 and younger. Credit may be applied to cards issued to patrons age 18 and under only.

The Riverdale Branch Library is at 2421 Buckingham Road in Fort Myers.

For more information about a program or to register, call the library at (239) 533-4370. A sign language interpreter is available with five business days notice to library staff. Assistive listening system available; request at desk.
