Episcopal Church sets party
St. Anselms Episcopal Church is planning a party, with games and lunch, on Oct. 16 at 2201 Sixth St. E. There will also be door prizes.
Admission is a $5 donation.
All proceeds go to outreach programs.

Financial course available
Dave Ramsey presents Financial Peace University at New Life Assembly of God, at 5146 Leonard Blvd. S. Classes will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 7.
The nine-week course provides participants with practical tools to gain control of their finances and set themselves up for long-term financial success.
The course meets once a week and a different lesson is taught by Ramsey on DVD, followed by a small-group discussion.
Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving for emergencies and investing.
FPU lessons also include guest speakers Rachel Cruze, speaker and daughter of Ramsey; Jon Acuff, author of the Wall Street Journal best-seller “Quitter” and blog Stuff Christians Like; and Chris Hogan, counselor and speaker for the Ramsey organization.

Annual Artists’, Crafters’ Holiday Bazaar planned
The 6th Annual Artists’ and Crafters’ Holiday Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Blessed Pope John XXIII Catholic Church, at 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers.
Sponsored by Women’s Guild, it will feature holiday gifts, a bake sale, crafts, raffle prizes, refreshments and live entertainment.
Free admission and parking.
Proceeds from the event will be used toward the guild’s projects.

Annual Fall Festival scheduled
St. Raphael’s Catholic Church will host the annual Fall Festival on Nov. 14-17 at 2514 Lee Blvd.
The event features rides, food, music, a bake sale and auctions. There will also be entertainment under the big tent each evening and a spaghetti dinner Nov. 16.
The church is currently seeking donations for the silent auction. To donate, contact Skip or Linda Addison at (205) 495-8604 or e-mail carnutclub@gmail.com. Arrangements can be made to pick up donations.
The chuch is also looking for sponsors.
