Authorities seek identity of thief

The Lee County Sheriffs Office is asking for the public's help identifying a man who victimized a business in Lehigh Acres.

At about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 28, deputies responded to a burglary at a business at Rossman Realty, at 4922 Lee Blvd.

Deputies met with the office manager and discovered that the late night thief entered the business and helped himself to various electronic in the establishment.

He took two computers and a 52-inch flatscreen monitor from the office's conference room.

Surveillance video from the business revealed the man is black and wore a white shirt, black shorts, ski mask and gloves.

In an attempt to identify the man, the owners of Rossman Realty are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

This money would be in addition to any reward given out through Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, which could be up to $1,000.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
