William "Bill" J. Nosalik, 56, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Hope Hospice of Lehigh Acres after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born Sept. 21, 1957, in LaSalle, Ill., to Mary and William Nosalik.
He served 20 years in the United State Marine Corps and retired in 1995.
In 2002, he was hired on with Homeland Security as a TSA screener at the Fort Myers Airport.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia "Pat"; best friend, his beloved Labrador retriever "Sarg"; parents, Mary and William Nosalik; sister, Jackie (Louie) Ricci; aunts, Patsy (Al) Castelli and Joan (Augie) Bornac; father-in-law, Edward Hoey; brother-in-law, Ed (Tami) Hoey; nephews, Eddie Hoey, Andrew Hoey and Louie Ricci; and TSA family and friends at RSW & PDG and friends from CenturyLink.
Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at the Hodges Funeral Home. Funeral services took place Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at the funeral home, with entombment at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
