A native of Atlanta, Ga., he was the owner and operator of Toney Services and a member of First Christian Church of Fort Myers.
He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and lettered in five sports all four years at Rockdale County High School.
He was especially known for having a servant's heart that found true joy in doing for others, however small the task.
