Kenneth M. Sutton, 99, formerly of Lehigh Acres, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. He was born April 30, 1914, in Duluth, Minn.
He worked and lived most of his life in Duluth. He was employed by the D.M.&I.R. railroad and was an expert welder and electrician.
He and his wife spent 25 years in retirement in Lehigh, returning to Minnesota in their final years. Their daughter and her husband cared for them in Cambridge, Minn.
He had a good life and was devoted to his family, friends and faith. His spirit will live on.
He is survived by his children, Edward (Roberta), Ken J. (Diane), Kay Sutton and Roberta (John) Royal; nephew, Bill (Cheryl) Sutton of Duluth; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Jane.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at the Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home, at 311 S. Ashland St., Cambridge, Minn. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m.
Refreshments will be served following the service.
