Southwest Florida Urologic Associates announces the addition of a new physician, Blake Evans, M.D., who is accepting new patients at the Lee County locations.
Evans earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete his internship and residency training in urology at Shands Hospital, located on the University of Florida campus.
Evans is affiliated with the American Urological Association and the Florida Urological Society.
His areas of special interest include robotic surgery, urologic oncology, stone disease, female urology, prosthetics and voiding dysfunction.
Evans is a third-generation urologist, following his father, Dr. William Evans who is also a physician with South Florida Urologic Associates, and grandfather, Dr. Arthur Evans.
Southwest Florida Urologic Associates has established the standard of care for urological disorders in Southwest Florida since 1974.
Locations are in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Englewood.
