Homer E. Schultz, 86, of Lehigh Acres, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. He was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Gerard, Pa., to Harry and Lucy Schultz.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He owned and operated Western Auto Store in Waterford, Pa., before moving to Florida and opening Englewood Mower Center.

He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; brothers, Cecil (Mary) Schultz and Melvin (Georgia) Schultz; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Schultz; and sisters, Harriet Felege, Virginia Kolar, Maxine Peters, Phyllis Gresh and Mrytle Hazen.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Hodges Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service. Entombment was held at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
