Three men decided Jan. 2 that they would conduct what Crime Stoppers is calling "a brazen robbery" by going into a fireworks tent stand at Gunnery and Meadow roads shortly after 9 a.m. and robbing the clerk.
Trust Routte, the coordinator with Crime Stoppers, said the men demanded money and the clerk handed it over.
One of the man grabbed the register off the counter. It contained an undisclosed amount of money. Another man grabbed four boxes of mortars fireworks.

She said that after emptying the register, the men threw it out of the driver's side window to the south side of Meadow, between Gordon and Harold avenues.
