To the editor:
I truly wonder if Marko Rubio knows who he is or what he stands for. I wonder if he has any principles he will not compromise.
I received an unrequested e-mail from our junior senator advertising his stand on Florida insurance. My response was at first, "Thank you." I truly appreciate anything positive for people coming from him. However most of what comes from him and his party is a day late and a dollar short. In addition, he often changes to suit the party.
Today I learned he says that he agrees with the House Plan on Immigration reform. He served on a bipartisan commission and made recommendations to a plan that passed in the Senate. He made recommendations which he now does not support. He must change to gain favor with the obtrusive Tea Party Republican coalition.
He also suggested today that the lack of young people's enrolment in the ACA (marketplace) will cost the taxpayers. His party all along has voiced hate for the ACA and advised non-participation and obstruction.
At this point I feel my response to Mr. Rubio should be, "Please do not send me e-mails. Please do America a favor and take a long walk uphill and into the wind."
