To the editor:
In response to a letter to the editor, I would suggest the letter writer drink some Kool Aide and eat his vegetables. Some say we should change the ACA. I say give it a chance to work before you change it. I ask what hate group, special interest group or lobbyists are you pleasing. For once get it right and let's see how well the ACA not weakened by infighting works.
Previously perhaps Mr. Obama should not have made promises on insurances which were bad. People should take responsibility for knowing poor insurance. Health care is not insurance. We all make poor personal choices sometimes.
The insurance reforms in the ACA seem to be forgotten, they are working. Recent news reports of states like Kentucky and West Virginia's acceptance of the ACA certainly makes Hal Kings remarks a little worthless.
Recent news from the CMS shows the Health Care Reform is working. The patient centered Medical Homes and the ACO are improving outcome. The CMS also reports a $129 million addition to the Medicare Trust from savings by the ACOs.
Forget Kool Aide, drink milk.
