Elfreda "Freda" Ann Larmony, 72, of Lehigh Acres, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was born in Danbury, Connecticut, to Francis Bruey and Mavis Reid.

She grew up on Long Island, New York, and moved to St. Maarten after getting married to Leonel "Neville" Larmony.

She moved to Lehigh Acres 33 years ago and was employed with Lenny's Furniture - her second family - for 30 years.

She volunteered many years of service at the St. Raphael's Catholic Church religious education program in Lehigh as her daughters were growing up.

She had a love for helping children in need.

She is survived by her husband; children, Tracy Larmony of Fort Myers, Janine Larmony of Lehigh, Kelly (Wilfried) Larmony-Probst of Apopka and Danielle (Neville) Larmony-Cuthbert of Longwood; adopted sons, Rene Nierop of Arizona and Robert Nierop of Southwest Florida; grandchildren, Casey Radvansky, Evan Cuthbert and Renee Cuthbert; sister, JoAnn Kramer; brother, Donald Bruey; brother-in-law, Charlie Larmony; sisters-in-law, Laura O'Shea, Kristine Larmony, Jean Moss and Karen Larmony; 11 nieces; five nephews; eight grandnieces; six grandnephews; her Mullet Bay family - Minder, Denise, Cheryl, Chad, Christopher Rismay and Michael Ferrier; the Deher family; the deWeever family; Lina Mingo and the Carty family - Francis, Marie-Louise, Nathalie, Natacha and Nicole; Roy Richardson and family; and Jennifer Calcao and family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Larmony; father, Francis Bruey; mother, Mavis Forlenza; stepfather, Edward Forlenza; and brothers, Michael and Tyrone Bruey.

She left behind many family and friends that loved her dearly and will miss her.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, July 25, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. at the Anderson-Patterson chapel, at 2701 Lee Blvd. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m.
