By PHIL WIEBOLD , Lehigh Acres Citizen

The Southwest Florida Postal Customer Council invites Southwest Florida businesses to register for its annual "National Postal Customer Council Day" event scheduled Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The United Way Building, at 7273 Concourse Drive, Fort Myers.

In support of the National PCC Day theme, "Stronger Together," Postmaster General/CEO Patrick R. Donahoe will address attendees via video messaging. United States Postal Service Manager Customer Relations John Budzinski will share the latest on programs, products and services.

South Florida businesses are invited to register in advance to listen to the postmaster general's presentation, meet their local postmaster and the PCC board of directors, and network and share best practices with other businesses.

Participate in: Targeting Your Real-estate Customers With Direct Mail, with Your Home Publishing's President Tony Spano; Nonprofit Mailing and Intelligent Mail Barcoding for Small Businesses, with United States Postal Service Supervisor Business Mail Entry William Nye; and Every Door Direct Mail, with United States Postal Service Marketing Specialist Cynthia Cordova.

The event also includes a continental breakfast.

The cost for the event is $15.

To register, please email Philip.C.Wiebold@usps.gov or call Philip Wiebold at (239) 277-3344 to reserve your seat.
