William Horacio Jr., 81, of Lehigh Acres, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. He was born May 7, 1933, in Manhattan, New York, to William and Constance Horacio Sr.

He had resided in Lehigh for the past 14 years. He previously resided in Hopatcong, New Jersey.

He was a retired police officer, and he loved photography. He held memberships with the American Legion, Masonic Lodge 344 and KYCH, was past commander of the Knights Templar and was a Shriner at the Araba Temple of Fort Myers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Deborah Horacio; faithful canine, Lukey; children, Aida Horacio of Lehigh Acres, Jeannette Horacio of Fort Lauderdale, Yvonne (Manny) Valez of Altomonte Springs, Filomenia (Mario) Rosario of Margate, William (Terri) Horacio III of Virginia and Edward (Janet) Horacio of New Jersey; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Almondo Horacio of Lake Worth and Jimmy Horacio of Bronx, New York; and niece, Irene (Hank) Ramirez.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; granddaughter, Jennifer Ramos; brother, Herman; and sisters, Ana and Lydia.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, from 2-3 p.m. at the Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, at 2701 Lee Blvd. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m.
