We badly need change

By Staff | Mar 2, 2016

To the editor:

As I said in my last letter to the editor the GOP has hand-picked its figure head to lead the GOP in the 2016 election. Marco Rubio.

The vote and wishes of the people do not count with the establishment, the elite and the willing, biased news media. They are hell bent on keeping the status quo in our government.

They are pushing hard for Marco Rubio to be nominee for president in 2016 and eventually the president. Why? Is it because he is in the pockets of the elite Democrats and Republicans and can be controlled? And it all started when he ran for and was elected to the Senate here in Florida.

He ran for Senate on the basis of being against amnesty and against the establishment.

Once he got into the Senate he became the messenger boy for the establishment. He immediately got appointed to the following committees: Commerce Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard, as well as the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere, Transnational Crime, Civilian Security, Democracy, Human Rights and Global Women’s Issues. Not bad for a nobody.

Now, at this time, I call your attention to the exact comparison between Obama and Rubio in their rise to fame. Obama came from nowhere as did Rubio. They both were elected to the U.S. Senate on broken promises. They both served on various committees and they both missed many of the sessions and meetings. And they both made somewhat the same promises for a better America.

Like Obama, a one-term senator who did nothing while a senator.

He hardly attended many of the sessions and he missed many of the important foreign and intelligence meetings. He became a very prominent member of the Gang of Eight who wanted to promote amnesty and allow more illegal immigrants into the country. He became a favorite with Sen. Chuck Schumer, Sen. Reid, both Democratic senators, and, of course, the ever-leaning towards liberals, senators McCain and Lindsay Graham.

During one of the very important meetings of the Gang of Eight Rubio failed to invite the head of the ICE until pushed hard by Gov. Huckabee and some of the concerned news media. Even then the head of the ICE was not allowed to bring any of his staff with him. He was to appear alone with no witnesses. From all reports there were suggestions made by the head of ICE to change the bill written by Rubio in some areas. Some of the suggestions made by the head of ICE Rubio and his committee acknowledged that they would change. Right after the meeting the bill was presented without any changes suggested and agreed to.

When Rubio was questioned about his bill and the Gang of Eight he denied that he pushed for amnesty and the free flow of immigrants into the United States of America. Yet Sen. Chuck Schumer, the high-ranking Democratic senator on the committee, has stated publicly that Rubio’s finger prints were all over the amnesty bill.

Law enforcement was treated like absolute trash by Sen. Rubio during his effort to ram the Gang of Eight amnesty bill through the Senate, Rubio took to national television to denounce Crane and his service to his country.

Marco Rubio stated that Mr. Crane, the head of ICE, is not an official but just the head of the union. Mr. Crane is as much a federal law enforcement officer as Marco Rubio is a senator. Prominent sheriffs throughout the country have rushed to Mr. Crane’s aide, praising him for his courage to tell the truth amidst attacks.

This was not the first time Rubio has found himself on the opposite side of law enforcement. Sen. Rubio said that there is systemic racism amongst America’s law enforcement that it is victimizing minorities – insisting that he saw it happen. Rubio’s claims of police racism sound more like something Democrats are falsely claiming.

So it’s no wonder that Rubio is getting support from the established members of the Senate, the House and the liberal news media and being financed by PACS and others with big, big money. The establishment and the elite of both political parties must have the status quo at all costs and to further their control over all of the people in the USA. Ted Cruz said on Monday that he had asked for the resignation of his national spokesman Rick Tyler, citing a grave error of judgment when he posted a misstatement about Marco Rubio. An error of judgment, my foot. That man is a real pro and a man with much experience about being a spokesman. The night before the caucus and this happens. How much did that cost somebody? Dirty tricks and corruption are not beyond the hard-core politicians with the stakes as high as these are.

I do not want a strict politician, a former or sitting senator to be president again. I will take an outsider like Trump, Cruz (who stood up to the elite in the Senate) or Dr. Ben Carson to give us real hope and change. I am tired of being told that the person we elect must look presidential, speak presidential, have experience in foreign affairs and be able to bring both legislative bodies together. We have done that in past umpteen years and look what we have one complete mess and on the verge of a recession.

I pray that the people of America wake up and realize that what we have now in the leadership is not what is best of America. We need new hope and we need change badly. I urge all to consider the outsiders for that hope and change.

God Bless America and help us in the future hope and change.
