Learn2Play Lacrosse, Summer Camp

Ballistic Lacrosse will host the following activities:

- Summer Camp: Two one-week summer camps geared to learning new skills in a fun and challenging setting. Registration includes camp T-shirt, water bottle and snacks; participants must bring their own lunch. Cost is $175 per week; week one is June 27 to July 1, and week two is July 25-29. Camp is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverdale High School, at 2600 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers.

- Learn2Play Lacrosse: Free one-day session where participants learn the basic skills to play lacrosse will be held on July 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Riverdale High School, at 2600 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers. Participants need sneakers and water.

FGCU Cross Country Summer Camp

Florida Gulf Coast University will host its men's and women's cross country camp from June 27 to June 30 at Alico Arena, at 10501 S. FGCU Blvd., Fort Myers.

The camp will provide runners with the training necessary to improve their strength, tactics and overall knowledge of the sport.

Campers will have the opportunity to meet fellow runners and work directly with the FGCU coaching staff. They will also participate in training sessions and competitions designed to help them apply the techniques they learn.

Athletes of all ages are encouraged to attend, and campers will have the option of staying on campus or commuting each day.

Cost is $355 for commuters, with drop off at 7 a.m. and pick up at 7:30 p.m.; $425 for overnighters and it includes a place to stay.

Lunch provided each day; overnighters also receive dinner.

FGCU Baseball Summer Camp

Florida Gulf Coast University will host its annual baseball summer camps at Swanson Stadium, at 10501 E. FGCU Lake Parkway, Fort Myers.

The camps will include:

- Eagles Summer Prospect Camp: July 25-July 28

The camp will evaluate your abilities, teach detailed skills and enlighten you to the college game. All will be accomplished in a highly organized professional environment. The camp gives players a chance to work side-by-side with the FGCU coaching staff and provides an environment that promotes discipline and hard work. Players will be divided by age and ability during the camp. For sixth through 12th grades; cost is $350.

Lunch is included each day.

Campers are encouraged to bring their own equipment.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register quickly as there is limited space.
