Needy should not pay for others’ ‘prosperity’

To the editor:

Trump and his chosen herd of Trumplets are categorically not fit by conscience, temperament and philosophy to administer and guide our nation. There is no question: Their reputations precede them.

That is, of course, a significant problem but it is not No. 1 on the list. That distinction belongs to those fractional, disjointed personalities who elected Trump and continue to support his fraudulent, misguided and destructive ideas and plans. I have serious reservations about letting these curious folk wander about unaccompanied by at least one whole, tempered human being at all times - that for their own safety as well as that of the nation.

The notion that it is necessary to kick a certain proportion of our citizens into the gutter in order for the rest of us to prosper is insanely and demonstrably - yes, mathematically - incorrect. This notion is at the root of our problems and as well those of the rest of the world. It just is not so! The fact lies exactly to the contrary!

However, please note that it requires a functioning conscience to first seek, then to discover and finally to assimilate this fact!
