Authorities searching for men who bound employees in armed robbery

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying two armed suspects who recently robbed a Family Dollar Store in Lehigh Acres.

At about 10 p.m. Aug. 27, two men brandishing pistols entered the store, at 5009 Lee Blvd. They forced employees to the ground, then used large white plastic zip ties to bind their wrists behind their backs. They left minutes later with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and approximately 25 years of age. He wore a red hooded sweatshirt, clear latex gloves on his hands and a white shirt to mask his face.

The second suspect is a black man with long dreadlocks, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, about 25 years of age and 180 pounds. He also wore clear latex gloves.
