Distribution points announced, including Lehigh

Additional points of distribution will be open 1 p.m. 4 p.m. today to provide food and water to residents.

They include:

- Our Lady of Miracle Church, at 12175 Stringfellow Road, Bokeelia

- Prairie Pines Preserve, at 18400 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers

- Veterans Park Recreation Center, at 55 Homestead Road S.

- Estero High School, at 21900 River Ranch Road, Estero

- Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track in Bonita Springs, at 10601 Bonita Beach Road SE, Bonita Springs



Residents of Lee County who have been affected by Hurricane Irma can go to one of a handful of distribution points to receive food and water.

The points are:

- Villas Elementary, at 8385 Beacon Blvd., Fort Myers

- Flea Masters Flea Market, at 4135 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers

- Lehigh Acres Fire Station 1, at 1000 Joel Blvd.

The points of distribution are open today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

They will be drive-up distribution locations, where the National Guard will be handing out Meals Ready-to-Eat and water.

More sites are expected to be announced later today.
