LCSO releases sketch in hopes of finding witnesses to homicide

In hopes of reaching more individuals who may have unknowingly witnessed events leading up to a fatal shooting Sept. 14 in Lehigh Acres, authorities have released a composite sketch.

The sketch is of a person of interest, who may be able to assist with the investigation.

The recollections of numerous individuals who were in the area of Leonard Boulevard North and Leonard Boulevard South about 6 p.m. that day have been compiled and utilized to develop a sketch of a person of interest. Lee County Sheriff's Office detectives said the man depicted in the sketch may have been driving a white SUV or a truck hauling a mattress at the time of the shooting.

Aden Wright, 20, was fatally wounded as a result of a disturbance in the area.

Anyone in the area between Lee Boulevard and Hawalaska Street who witnessed anything unusual prior to the arrival of law enforcement is asked to call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
