Money shouts

To the editor:

I address the following letter to U.S. Attorney General Sessions:

Your attempt to justify the termination of DACA on Constitutional grounds, while technically likely correct, is - in context - is exquisitely vapid and politically sleazy.

You imply that such a program suffers from its having not been inaugurated legislatively by Congress. That further implies that the legislative product of Congress is typically somehow honorable and morally right. (Raucous laughter!)

For the most part the legislative output of our politicians of either stripe is fatally flawed, corrupted and contaminated by Big Money - money gathered from one or a few sources in large blocks or from many sources in small amounts!

Here is the problem:

Money has no honorable place in politics - traditional, yes - but not honorable! Money does not simply talk: It shouts!

I estimate that likely 90 percent of the laws under which this nation currently operates could not stand a reasonable test of honor, not to mention fairness to all legitimate interests in the long run.

The current administration, for example, could not, would not exist save for the scurrilous machinations of Big Money! Big Money is used to misinform, to delude, to warp the judgment of the voter-in-the-street such that the 1 percent - the oligarchy presently running this nation - incidentally, of whom you are a client - can force its political will upon all of us.
