Riverdale Branch Library lists upcoming activities for November

The roster of activities for November at the Riverdale Branch Library, at 2421 Buckingham Road, Fort Myers.

The following programs are free and open to the public:

Adult programs

– Game Club Wednesday

1 p.m. Nov. 15, 22, 29

Make new friends while playing cards, chess and board games.

– Crochet & More

1 p.m. Nov. 18

This is a self-directed group. Share your ideas with each other. Crochet supplies provided or bring your own.

Storytime

– Family Storytime

10 a.m. Nov. 3 and 17

Your whole family is invited to this enjoyable, all-ages storytime that encourages the development of prereading skills through songs, rhymes, fingerplays and stories.

Children’s programs

– Kids Read Down Fines

2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 and 17

10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 4, 18 and 25

Children and teens earn a $2 coupon or credit for every 15 minutes they read in the designated area for a total of $8 in one session. Credit may be applied to cards issued to patrons age 18 and under and applies only to overdue charges.

– Movie Fun

10:30 a.m. Nov. 18

10:30 a.m. Nov. 22

3 p.m. Nov. 22

A family-themed movie. Check at the library for the title.
