The Lee County Sheriff's Office is continuing an investigation into the death of a male whose body was discovered Friday.
The agency received a call for service at 7 a.m. Nov. 29 in reference to "a deceased male located at the 400 block of Monroe Avenue, Lehigh Acres."
Detectives with the Homicide Unit were notified and assumed the investigation.

"This incident appears isolated and there is no threat to the public," a release from the Lee County Sheriff's Office issued Monday states.
"The investigation remains active at this time."
No other details were released.
