CREATE A NEW TOPICNeighborhood Watch Meeting
The plans are in the making to launch an all out Neighborhood Watch group for the residents of the Indian Village subdivision off of Alabama Rd. in Lehigh Acres. "The goal of this meeting is to teach all residents of Lehigh Acres how to 'Take Back Our Beautiful Community of Lehigh Acres,' and make the streets safe to walk again. This will only happen if we as a community pull together and shows up to learn what we can do as individuals, families, friends and business people," said organizer Robert Anderson. This effort needs a big turn-out to fill the main conference room at the Microtel Inn on Business Way on July 7 at 7 p.m., he said. "Please take time to help find ways to participate in cleaning up Lehigh. Through the Sheriff's 'Weed and Seed' program or a Neighborhood Watch, the hope is to drive out the criminal element in Lehigh Acres," he said.

I thin the editor of the Citizen needs to understand that when Anderson becomes involved in something that it speaks terribly for the community. You are known by the company you keep. So when people think of Lehigh are they to think of the likes of Anderson? He has done so much damage to Lehigh. He has hurt so many people by his mean spirited behaviour that is full of lies, embellishments and vindictiveness. Yet, it was something to hear that when Anderson "fell apart" last December with his desperate note that so many came to help Anderson even if they suspected it to be a scam. People gave him money, food and services and many of them knew that he would never learn. Now thats a glowing fact about Lehigh. Kindness when needed to even someone so odious as not to deserve it.

Anderson, you have no authority to give me orders. If you cannot stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen. I know, the truth hurts, doesn't it?

As editor of The Lehigh Acres Citizen, I would like to ask those who go on these message boards just to attack each other to refrain from such personal attacks. There are many issues in Lehigh to debate. And debate is good. Discussions could be about the poor streets in Lehigh, foreclosures, workings of the ECWCD, the fire department's problems, etc. I think we have heard enough about certain people being a felon and another that has been arrested, too. I don't understand why a lot of you continue to take cheap shots at each other. Enough is enough; let's stop the personal attacks now! If you have an opinion on something going on in Lehigh, let's hear it, but to sign up under different names just to constantly attack is unacceptable and I would appreciate it if we moved away from such back and forth fighting.

What a riot! Richard is quite right. An anti crime program led by a criminal? Anderson you have no credibilty. No one wants to be part of a program that has someone like you involved in it. Get the message.

RichardP, So I'm a bad person. W&S is a good program and I'm very proud to be working them. I know of one Neighborhood Watch cordinator that in working with the W&S project that is sexual offender --- so he can be part of this program but I can not? Grow up RichardP and wake up before the world passes you by and be part of a win for Lehigh Acres and not one of its issues.

You don't get it Anderson. Because you claim you are involved in the Weed&Seed program most of the neighbors don't want any part of it. One of the neighbors was kind enough to show me a web site that is running about you and I am shocked with just how terrible a person you are. None of us want to be mixed up with you even if it is a good cause. You are bad news. You can do a lot for the community by finding a job and learning to pay back your bills.

Charles, You are totally wrong about the Weed And Seed Project. Everyone is working very hard on projects for Lehigh Acres. By part of a win for Lehigh Acres man. Lehigh Acres needs your help Charles. Next meeting this Wednesday night 6pm Veterans Park Rec Center. If you a issue with the W&S project than voice opinion at that meeting. But I will bet you a quarter that you will not show up or if you do show up that you will not say a word at all?

The Weed and Seed program has turned into a joke. With people like a career felon and a pedophile with a fetish for Nazi paraphenalia helping to run the show is just good comedy. Anderson doesn't get it. When he's involved with something out goes the credibility.

Sure, if you wish to hear a convicted serial felon talk, then come on out. My advise for all the residents of Indian Village is be very careful of this man.

Charles, what does comments really do expect for feeding the negatively frenzy on this forum. It sounds to me that you do not believe Lehigh Acres has any issues. A challenge you to go to a weed and seed meeting or two and you will learn a lot about Lehigh Acres.
