It has been confirmed today that Chief Adams will be removing two more Lehigh rescues / ambulances off the road leaving only one LAFD owned unit to service Lehigh Acres. It’s also been confirmed that Lee County EMS will handle the rest of the transport service most likely by the end of the month. Also more confirmed bad news inside the dept today that Chief Adams will be laying off 9 more fire fighters.
