LACPC MEMBERS REVOLT ON DISBANDING
LACPC members revolted against the suggestion by Damon Shelor of the Community Council, Edd Weiner and Richard Geogian. The members were shocked when they learned about the plan hatched up to dissolve the board and give control of its business to Shelor"s Community Council. The members decided to go public (whatever that means) and set a new agenda by changing its name and letting the public have more input into its operations.(Whatever they will be). No doubt the decision by the county planner after the input by the Lehigh public at the July 24 public meeting decided to have general meetings and take public input on the code without setting up so called local boards or middle staff to come between the taxpayers and the county planners by filtering and parsing the feelings of Lehigh citizens who are capable of speaking for themselves. At the next August 28 meeting of the county 10am. veterans park, (all are invited).
