Red Sox Stadium

When will the taking of tax dollars from the unincorporated areas of Lee County stop! It’s be reported by many media outlets today that Lee County Commissioners are going to borrow $70 Million Taxpayer Dollars from the Unincorporated Municipal Services Taxing Unit which has been paid by the taxpayers of Lehigh Acres, San Carlos, Estero, North Fort Myers. Where is the money from Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach and Bonita? Do we as people that live in unincorporated area in Lee County have a voice where it comes to this? Why do the taxpayers of the unincorporated areas of Lee County have support the stadium only? Will Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Spring benefit for this new stadium also? The original plan sold to the taxpayers was to use Tourist Development Council money so where is the money Commissioners? Will the Commissioners have to raise Unincorporated Municipal Services Tax this next budget year to cover the cost
