Should assault weapons be banned and extensive background checks be made of buyers to help solve gun violence?

Every lawful member of our Republic should be required to own and be capable of using firearms.

Do any of you out there believe for one minute that the government-corporation is concerned for your safety? The gov-co is concerned for its OWN safety and they know that as long as we are armed they can be stopped in their tracks from communizing what is left of our country.
