This 'vote percentage' reminds me of attending a fire commission meeting.
The room is always packed with our heroes in support of anything that benefits them. Yet another truth about those meetings is the people who pay the bills don't bother to attend but they will eventually vote.
This will be interesting to watch.

1)The wannabes are salivating as they can't wait to 'serve' in the new city;
2)The greater threat is going to come from the kazillion votes cast by those who stand at the trough; they WILL be out in GREAT numbers.
3)Now is NOT the time to think everything will be all rite. Again, taxpayers BEWARE and watch the troughers. Why would the troughers NOT vote for incorporation? it isn't going to cost them a cent and every bottom-feeder in office will be catering to them (and the unions), FOREVER.
No tax base. Bad people with bad pasts want jobs. It will go down in flames like a few years ago.
The truth is incorporation will not allow us "to rule" ourself. Just the opposite is true.
By LA incorporating it becomes a SUBSIDIARY to the feds and the state. Briefly, that means LA WILL do what those superior corporate-entities demand and LA will BEAR THE COSTS.
Yes, incorporation will allow LA to plant roses on main street (without asking anyone) but the major cost programs and demands will be paid for by the NEW city. Taxpayers, BEWARE.
