Lehigh artist Marcus Antonius Jansen, known all over the world for his work, has a painting on display at the Miami Children’s Museum this week
The painting he calls “E Pluribus Unum” is a 48 by 60-inch oil enamel collage on canvas and is among several featured at the museum until next Monday, Dec. 22.
In commemoration of the 70 anniversary of The Wizard of Oz and in conjunction with Warner Bros.
Consumer Products, Miami Children’s Museum is hosting The Inspirations of Oz Fine Art and The Ruby Slipper on on Watson Island at 980 MacArthur Causeway, Miami.
These limited time exhibitions are free with paid admission to the museum. The collection features one-of-a-kind interpretive works of art,
including painting, drawing and sculpture from esteemed artisans Angelo Aversa, Gary Baseman, Romero Britto, Gentle Giant, Phillip Graffham, Gris Grimly, Marcus Jansen, Johnny Johns, William Joyce, Joel Nakamura, Nelson de la Nuez,
Glen Orbik, Ragnar, Alex Ross, Todd White and Yakovetic.
