A Cape Coral man has been charged with lewd or lascivious molestation on a person less than 12 years of age.
Police filed the first degree felony charge against Burton Randall Admire, 72, of 7566 Edson Drive, Fort Myers, after the mother of 9-year-old girl called the Department of Children and Families in November to report her daughter had been molested.
According to police, the child’s mother contacted DCF on Nov. 12 and reported that her daughter told her she had been molested by Admire numerous times over a two-year period. After receiving information from DCF, an investigation by Cape Coral Police Detective Brice Bearman found probable cause to charge Admire with lewd and lascivious molestation, police said.
