Ballpark Festival of Beers is Saturday

By Staff | Jan 23, 2009

The 5th Annual Ballpark Festival of Beers, brought to you by Miracle Professional Baseball, returns to Hammond Stadium on Saturday, January 24 from 4 to 9 p.m. Southwest Florida’s largest beer testing event features a plentiful assortment of different beers from all over the world. If your palate doesn’t go for beer, wine sampling is also available.

“This has been one of our most successful off-season events and last year we had to turn people away. We knew there were plenty of beer connoisseurs in the area.” said Miracle General Manager Steve Gliner.

Admission is $20 in advance, $25 on the day of event, and includes beer sampling tickets.

The Ballpark Festival of Beers is a 21 and over event and will occur rain or shine. Kids, babies in strollers and anyone under the age of 21 will not be allowed into the event, ID verification will be required upon entry into the festival.

Along with great beer, the entertainment is sure to bring the house down with the fantastic sounds of The New Vinyls and Geek Skwad.

The first 1,000 patrons will receive a commemorative sampling glass compliments of Shoeless Joe’s Sports Caf. Food will also be available for purchase from Jet’s Pizza and Hogtastic BBQ.
