Fort Myers police investigating drive-by shooting

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man injured at a Fort Myers intersection this morming.
Fort Myers police received a call at 1:38 a.m. reporitng that a car had been shot several times near the intersection of Polk and Bell.
Ashonti Barnes, 18, and Devon Goodman, 25, were in the car at the time. Only Barnes suffered a gunshot wound. In addition Jamar James , 18, of 959 Polk Street, was also shot at his home. He was grazed by a bullet, officials said.
Barnes and James attempted to drive to the hospital but the car broke down on the way. Barnes was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital and treated for his injury. James refused medical attention and police involvement, investigators said.
Police are still investigating.
