It exists only for the purpose of providing representation on behalf of the mortgage professional on the federal level. The NFMP’s focus is primarily in the areas of industry excellence, governmental awareness and consumer protection.
“This relationship with NFMP will allow our Association to represent the best interest of Florida mortgage professionals and the public on issues that impact home ownership and financing,” said Valerie Saunders, president of FAMB.
To further benefit consumers in Florida, the FAMB has established the Mortgage Professional (MP) designation, which is available to FAMB Professional Members and tells the consumer that these individuals subscribe to the Association’s Code of Ethics and have also met all state requirements for licensure including continuing education and background checks.
The Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers (FAMB) exists to advance the mortgage broker profession through advocacy, education and ethical practice.
