Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club announces agreement with the city to manage Yacht Club tennis courts

As part of its 2009 expansion plans, Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club has entered into a long-term agreement with the city of Cape Coral to manage the City Yacht Club Tennis Courts on Driftwood Parkway starting Feb. 9.
This will include the expansion of racquet sports and fitness throughout the city of Cape Coral, as Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club will also bring affordable programs to Burton Memorial Park, Camelot Park, Jim Jeffers Park, and Joe Stonis Park.
The Yacht Club Tennis Courts, located on the grounds of the Yacht Club Community Park, features five lighted tennis courts which are open to the public from 8am until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The pro shop offers tennis shoes, equipment, and gifts along with racquet stringing. Tennis pro staff is available on site for both private and group lessons as well as league play. Annual memberships can be purchased, or non-members can utilize the facility by paying a daily fee for court time.
Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club’s first order of business will be to ensure a seamless transition while providing a high-level quality of services. Resurfacing of all Yacht Club tennis courts will be scheduled immediately.

Mid-Cape Racquet & Health Club’s 4- ½ acre complex is located on one block north of Pine Island Rd between Skyline & Chiquita Blvd at 1300 Ceitus Terrace.
