Lightning gets new football coach
Pete Fominaya will be the new head football coach for the Lehigh Senior High School’s Lightning football team. The announcement was made today by Jeff Spiro, the school’s principal.
“Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts is excited to announce that Mr. Fominaya will be the new head football coach for our school,” Spiro said.
After excelling as a football player on the college level, Fominaya began his coaching career at Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Since 2005, Fominaya has been with Naples High School on the football staff. In addition to contributing as a football coach he was also the coordinator for college recruiting, Spiro said.
