Chico’s Music Fest set for Saturday in downtown Fort Myers
A Music Fest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14 continuing the three-week celebration of the 71st Edison Festival of Lights.
The event is presented by Chico’s Charities and it’s in Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers in the River District.
Activities include live entertainment and family fun. Hooters, Iguana Mia and several other food vendors will be on hand when regional and national entertainment takes the State Farm Insurance Stage. A free Family Fun Area includes play ground, bounce houses and a giant slide.
Event tickets include all concerts and a chance to celebrate Edison’s New Age of Invention. It costs $20 at the gate, 10 & under free. It all starts at 1 p.m. with a local band; and at 2:30, a national artists, The Smithereens will perform. At 4:30 p.m., there will be an announcement of the first annual “People Choice” of the honorary Grand Marshal; and at 4:45 p.m., the headliner will be Blues Traveler.
