The Florida Lottery today announced that Fred W. Vocaturo, 59, of Lehigh Acres, claimed $200,000 from the Florida POWERBALL drawing held February 11.

Vocaturo would have won $1 million had he purchased Power Play on his ticket for $1 more. His winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 1324 Homestead Road N. in Lehigh Acres.

POWERBALL jackpots start at $20 million and increase with each rollover. Power Play is an add-on feature to POWERBALL that gives players a chance to win up to $1 million. With the purchase of a POWERBALL ticket players can add Power Play for $1 more per play to multiply their non-jackpot prize winnings. Power Play purchasers who match 5 numbers will win $1 million – the POWERBALL match 5 prize multiplied by 5. All other non-jackpot prizes will be multiplied by the Power Play number, from 2 through 5, selected at draw time.

The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday, February 14, at 10:59 p.m. ET with a $92 million jackpot.
