Jeff Spiro, principal at Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts today said that senior Jonathan Mendres has been selected as a recipient of the 2009-2010 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship.

This award, funded through The Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for commitment to community service, academic achievement, and demonstrated leadership.

To acknowledge these accomplishments, recipients receive a one-time grant of $1,000, Spiro said.
