The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a person, wanted in connection with the aggravated stalking of a juvenile female in the area of Alabama Road, near State Road 82, Lehigh Acres.

Investigators were informed by the complainant that the suspect began slowly driving past the victim’s bus stop almost daily at the beginning of November, investigators said.

Every time the suspect encountered the victim, he waved his hands at the juvenile female and tried to speak to her. In the past, the victim has found notes at the bus stop that were left for her by the suspect. These encounters have become more sporadic since December when investigators began conducting surveillance in the area.

On the morning of Friday, February 20, 2009, the victim again observed the suspect approaching while waiting for her bus. This time, the suspect vehicle passed the victim’s bus stop, but turned around and started heading back towards the victim. Upon seeing this, the victim alerted her father.

This caused the suspect to change his direction and flee the scene.
