The General Woman’s Club annual luncheon and fashion show will be held on March 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the Colonial Country Club, just outside Lehigh on Colonial Blvd.

“The show committee has been burning the midnight oil making plans that include several surprises,” said chairman Bobbie Slanker. “Maralyn Waline and Reba Money are buzzing with many activities to create a unique theme for the celebration.”

Tickets are selling rapidly, according to Doris Walinski, ticket chairperson. She can be reached at 368-1312 for reservations.

Proceeds from the show will go toward providing scholarships for Lehigh Acres students who want to attend college next year.

Fashions are being shown by Dillards, with Juliann Mith as co-coordinator. Models for the show are Maralyn Waline, Maxine Ceriossomo, Ingrid Spears, Barbara Guido, Patty Long, Linda Saul, and Marilyn Warren.

Alanker said they expect at least 100 people to attend. The club puts on a fashion show each year as a benefit.
