A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Blessed Pope John XXXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. at 11 a.m. for John A. Martinko, 83, of Lehigh Acres, who died Friday, March 13, 2009.

He was the husband of the late June Martinko.

He is survived by his children, Norman (Gail) Martinko; Wayne (Judy) Martinko; and Patricia (David) Goldberg; grandchildren, Faith (George) Shain, Kristine (Greg) Wilk, Jenny (Mark) Toetz, Tricia (Brian) Lecher, Wendy (Mark) Wasielewski, Cindy (Jerry) Downs, Guy (Debbie) Martinko; Lisa (Michael) Tomczak, Craig (Kristin) Baller, Kelly (Ken) Wochniak, Kerry Martinko, and Trent Martinko; 19 great-grandchildren, three great great grand-children and a nephew, Glen Davis.

Entombment will follow the service at Lee memorial Park Cemetery.
