Fort Myers police are investigting the shooting death of a man found dead in a pickup truck near the intersection of Midway Avenue and Willard Street Friday night.
Officers answering a report of shots fired found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a vehicle shortly after 11:30 p.m., officials said.
EMS pronounced Charles Edward Ramsey II, 19, of 2420 Midway Avenue) dead at the scene.
Detectives processed the crime scene and the investigation is ongoing.
