ECWCD insurance costs hit by reader
To The Editor
The U.S Congress is up in arms about the $165 million rip-off of American taxpayers by the AGI Corporation.
The East County Water Control District of Lehigh Acres is paying health insurance premiums from $8,000 to $20,000 each to four of its supervisors (Boardman, Stout, Horrom and Barrett) Supervisor Welch is paying his own, and not the taxpayers.
The work scheduled consists of approximately two to three hours a month.
Why aren’t our so-called self anointed self appointed leaders on the community council, the chamber of commerce and the Commissioner Mann appointed leaders of Lehigh, the Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corporation, screaming
bloody murder and shouting it from the roof tops that the taxpayers are being taken advantage of by this gift that the ECWCD gave to themselves of our
money, this insurance also covers their dentist and their whole families.
The self anointed-self appointed community leaders just submitted a list of things needed for Lehigh to the president and they are going to ask it be put
into the proposed land use plan.
The main question arises is that how can they be so bold or stupid to ask for hundreds of millions of dollars from the federal government when they do not do a darn thing about our local elected officials doing the same to us as AIG is doing to the country?
