Sate Sen. Dave Aronberg, who is the chairman of the Senate Mliary Affairs and Domestic Security Committee, will hlod a town hall meeting at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County in the Theater located at 2280 Aaron St, in Port Charlotte.

Hew will talk about topics from basic services such as retirement benefits, to dealing with physical or emotional repercussion of war. The senator said Florida’s military veterans often have no idea where to turn for help and information when they return home.

To change that, Aronberg is working to open up the lines of communication between veterans and policy makers, his legislative aide said.

She said U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez’s office and the state’s Dept. of Veterans Affairs will also be available to answer questions concerning federal and state case work.
