The Cape Coral Police VIN Unit and the DEA Task Force arrested two men and confiscated 220 grams of cocaine after serving a search warrant at 4533 Skyline Blvd. Thursday.
Kerry Lee Jammer, 35, and Joshua Lorenzo Moreno, 24, were arrested and charged with Cocaine – Traffic, officials said after a federal narcotics search warrant was served at the residence at 4:15 p.m., officials said.
Upon entering the home, officers reportedly observed Jammer attempting to flush a large bag of cocaine down the toilet in the master bedroom. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the bag was retrieved from the toilet. In the bathroom, officers also found a Doritos can with a hidden compartment. The compartment, located at the bottom of the can, contained a large amount of crack cocaine.
Moreno was present in the bedroom when the warrant was served. Both Jammer and Moreno were arrested and read their Miranda warnings. Following Miranda, Jammer admitted that the cocaine belonged to him, officials said.
Officials said investigators found 46.0 grams of crack cocaine in the kitchen, 50.0 grams of crack cocaine and 4.0 grams of powder cocaine in the Doritos can, and 120.0 grams of powder cocaine in the bag in the toilet. Police confiscated $1,847 in currency from the bedroom dresser as well as other drug contraband. Police also seized a 2000 Mercury Sable belonging to Jammer.
