Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts educator, Mary Garcia, was selected as the Lee County Reading Council’s High School “Reading Teacher of the Year.”

Mary Garcia has been a reading teacher at Lehigh Senior High School for the past two years. She serves as the A-Team adviser, girls golf coach, reading leadership team and a member of the District Advisory Council, said Jeff Spiro, principal at the school.
