Southwest Florida has plenty of vocal talent and Miracle Baseball wants to hear you sing the national anthem at Hammond Stadium.

The Fort Myers Miracle will hold national anthem tryouts for the 2009 season on Saturday, April 18, at Miromar Outlets in Estero. The Miracle has a minimum number of available opportunities for performing the national anthem.

Tryouts will take place at the Miromar Outlets Fountain Area, near the Restaurant Piazza, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Soloists, instrument alists and groups may try out. Participants under the age of 18 will need parental consent on-site before being allowed to perform. Celebrity judges will grade the performers and available Miracle dates will be assigned the following week.

Registration will begin on-site for open time slots at 10:30 a.m. day of auditions.
